July 2025 SCUBA Platform Update: A Few Platforms Hit the Gas

This month’s SCUBA update comes with a refreshed roster. I’ve added several newer clinician-first platforms (Finni Health, Tilly Therapy, 3Y Health & Alpaca) now striving to reinvent practice management — and retired a few whose footprint no longer warrants ongoing tracking.

While many platforms held steady in hiring and news flow, a few are clearly leaning into growth mode, posting sharp headcount gains and feature rollouts. The result: an uneven but telling pulse on where the ABA platform market is moving.

Platform Milestones & Product Enhancements

  • Passage Health rolled out AI-generated Re-Assessment Reports via integration with Frontera’s reassessment builder — aimed at reducing BCBA time on re-assessments while improving accuracy. Additional updates included enhanced team member profiles, average data in phase legends on treatment graphs, and expanded billing claim statuses with system-wide write-off tracking.
  • CentralReach announced a partnership with Viventium, adding an integrated payroll/HCM option for providers.
CentralReach also let customers know it is replacing Insights product with Data Warehouse 2.0, giving data-savvy providers direct access to structured data for custom BI and KPI frameworks. The trade-off: every ABI extract and dependent report may need updating. The move mirrors a broader shift toward open, warehouse-backed architectures that integrate into a provider’s larger data stack. No Insight end-of-life dates given yet.
  • Lumary introduced automated SMS reminders, strengthening its RCM and scheduling toolkit.
  • Motivity launched a tracker for onboarding, training, credentialing, and contracting, expanding beyond core clinical workflows.
  • RethinkFirst appointed a new COO; former COO Jamie Pagliaro is now CEO of EarliTec Diagnostics.
  • Ensora named John Damgaard as CEO, signaling a leadership shift.

Notable Growth Signals

  • Brellium headcount jumped from 52 to 64 (+23%) — well above peer growth rates.
  • Passage Health grew staff by 37% month-over-month.
  • Silna Health increased headcount by 30% this month.
  • Camber posted a 64% uptick in open jobs but no significant ABA-specific news.

SCUBA Data Refresh

Staffing levels, job postings, and provider traction have been updated across the dataset. While Top 35 logos remain largely stable, hiring spikes suggest vendor readiness for expanded customer onboarding and product delivery through year-end.

SCUBA continues to track:

  • U.S.-based headcount
  • Open job postings
  • Top 35 provider adoption
  • Platform funding history
  • ABA-centric commercial focus

🧪 Full dataset includes: U.S. staff counts, open roles, provider adoption, ABA focus, user ratings, and investment history.
