June 2025 SCUBA Platform Update: Strategic Quiet, Tactical Movement

June 2025 SCUBA Platform Update: Strategic Quiet, Tactical Movement

While June brought no new platform investments — a contrast to the funding flurry earlier this year — it wasn’t quiet behind the scenes. That said, I expect at least one or two additional funding rounds to be announced soon.

I speak regularly with leaders at most of the teams featured here, and nearly all report strong buyer interest. Many of the newer entrants remain focused on mid-market providers, while top 35 providers appear more measured in their decisions.

Platform Milestones & Product Enhancements

  • Hi Rasmus launched a Manual Entry Tool for assessment results (VB-MAPP, Vineland-3, FAST, CFQL-2), with built-in visualizations and report integration.
  • CentralReach saw a leadership transition, with Head of AI David Stevens departing. He had been leading efforts to organize CR’s legacy data architecture and apply AI at scale. David assures me the team remains in strong hands.
  • Simple Fractal released Reggie, a turnkey bot that automates regional center billing for California ABA providers.
  • Artemis introduced new AI-powered reporting and business intelligence features to support decision-making and performance monitoring.
  • Motivity launched a Cognitive Skills & Executive Functioning Library targeting areas like attention, problem-solving, and planning.
  • Brellium unveiled its Email Efficacy dashboard, helping QA teams link feedback efforts to measurable documentation improvements.

Partnerships & Recognition

  • Brellium and RethinkFirst are now highlighting their partnership to streamline pre-payment reviews.
  • Jeff Beck, founder of Answers Now, was named an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2025 for the Mid-Atlantic region. An upcoming Operator Spotlight will explore how their platform supports scalable telehealth delivery.

Refreshed Platform Data

Staffing levels and open roles have been updated across the SCUBA dataset. While a few platforms saw modest hiring, no net new Top 35 provider logos were added this month.

SCUBA continues to track:

  • U.S.-based headcount
  • Open job postings
  • Top 35 provider traction
  • Platform funding history
  • ABA-centric commercial focus

🧪 Full dataset includes: U.S. staff counts, open roles, provider adoption, ABA focus, user ratings and investment history.
