July 2026 Platform SCUBA Update

Theme: Execution becomes the differentiator

Over the past two months, Platform SCUBA has highlighted vendors expanding beyond traditional practice management capabilities and becoming more intentional about what they choose to build versus integrate.

This month, another pattern emerged.

Rather than announcing headline-grabbing product launches, several platforms invested in the capabilities required to execute at a higher level. Intake operations, CRM connectivity, ecosystem leadership, and organizational scale all received more attention than incremental enhancements to scheduling or documentation.

As the ABA technology market matures, competitive advantage increasingly appears to depend less on adding another feature and more on helping providers successfully operate, implement, and grow.

Overall hiring remained remarkably steady across the platform landscape despite continued pressure on provider margins. Camber continued adding headcount for a fourth consecutive month, while Motivity, Boost, Finni, and Alpaca Health also posted modest growth. Taken together, the data suggests platforms remain willing to invest in execution even as hiring has become more measured than earlier in the year.

🔎 Notable signals from July

  • Artemis announced a native integration with HighLevel, extending connectivity into CRM and marketing workflows. As more providers look to unify patient acquisition with operational execution, front-office capabilities continue moving closer to the core platform.
  • AlohaABA introduced Intake Manager, reinforcing intake as a strategic operational workflow rather than a standalone administrative process.
  • EarliPoint Health launched Project ALIGN, bringing together leading ABA providers to advance more objective developmental measurement across organizations. Beyond the technology itself, the initiative positions EarliPoint as a platform helping shape industry standards.
  • AnswersNow expanded its leadership team with senior hires across sales, operations, HR, and other key functions. While executive appointments rarely make SCUBA, the breadth of these additions suggests continued investment in organizational scale alongside product development.
