June 2026 Platform SCUBA Update
Theme: Platform boundaries become more intentional
Last month, several platforms expanded beyond their traditional areas of focus. This month, a different pattern emerged.
Rather than simply adding features, vendors increasingly appear to be making deliberate decisions about what they will own—and what they will connect.
Some are extending their platforms into adjacent operational workflows. Others are remaining narrowly focused while relying on partnerships and interoperability to create more seamless provider experiences.
The result is an ecosystem where competitive differentiation is becoming less about individual features and more about architectural strategy.
📉 Market Signals & Hiring Trends
Overall hiring remained relatively stable across the platform landscape. CentralReach surpassed 400 U.S. LinkedIn employees while maintaining its platform staff leadership position by a considerable margin. Camber and Silna Health both added headcount for a third consecutive month, suggesting continued commercial momentum.
🔎 Notable signals from June
